Welcome to the OWASP Jaihind College of Engineering Kuran Chapter! 🎉
We are a passionate group of students and cybersecurity enthusiasts dedicated to improving application security awareness in and around our campus.

Our chapter hosts hands-on workshops, CTFs, webinars, and guest lectures by industry experts. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned hacker, you’re welcome to learn, share, and grow with us!

Participation

The Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP) is a nonprofit foundation that works to improve the security of software. All of our projects, tools, documents, forums, and chapters are free and open to anyone interested in improving application security.

Chapters are led by local leaders in accordance with the Chapters Policy. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online donation button.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in our Projects, Local Chapters, Events, Online Groups, and Community Slack Channel. We especially encourage diversity in all our initiatives. OWASP is a fantastic place to learn about application security, to network, and even to build your reputation as an expert. We also encourage you to be become a member or consider a donation to support our ongoing work.

  • National Level Seminar on Cybersecurity and CTFs
    • Date: 23 July 2025
    • Description: We are organizing a national level seminar focusing on cybersecurity trends and Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions. The event will feature expert sessions, panel discussions, and interactive workshops designed to help students and professionals deepen their knowledge in cybersecurity and CTF methodologies.

Past Events

  • State Level CTF Competition
    • Date: March 2025
    • Participants: 200
    • Description: Our chapter hosted a state level Capture The Flag (CTF) competition at Jaihind College of Engineering, Kuran. The event attracted 200 participants from across the state, offering challenging problems in web security, cryptography, reverse engineering, and more. It was a great opportunity for students to showcase their skills and collaborate with peers passionate about cybersecurity.
