Welcome to the OWASP Gurugram Chapter, a regional community under the Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP), dedicated to fostering a culture of secure software development, cybersecurity awareness, and collaborative learning.

Our Mission

The OWASP Gurugram Chapter aims to:

-> Promote awareness about application security threats, secure coding practices, and security frameworks.
-> Provide a platform for security professionals, developers, researchers, and students to engage in knowledge-sharing and skill-building.
-> Organize meetups, workshops, CTFs, and hands-on sessions to encourage practical learning.
-> Bridge the gap between academia and industry by collaborating with professionals, ethical hackers, and security experts.

We will conduct regular events, including:
✅ Technical Talks & Workshops – Deep-dives into OWASP Top 10, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, API Security, and more.
✅ Capture The Flag (CTF) Competitions – Hands-on hacking challenges to improve offensive and defensive security skills.
✅ Hackathons & Security Bootcamps – Engaging activities that allow participants to learn and apply security concepts.
✅ Networking & Community Engagement – Connecting with industry leaders, cybersecurity experts, and OWASP contributors.

Participation

The Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP) is a nonprofit foundation that works to improve the security of software. All of our projects, tools, documents, forums, and chapters are free and open to anyone interested in improving application security.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in our Projects, Local Chapters, Events, Online Groups, and Community Slack Channel. We especially encourage diversity in all our initiatives.
